Professional users and engineer responsibility
Bolstr J is for professional structural engineers and small engineering practices. Its AI outputs are editable draft assistance only. You remain responsible for professional judgement, checking and sign-off.
Accounts and acceptable use
Keep your account details secure and use the service lawfully and responsibly. Do not misuse the service, interfere with it, or use it to harm others.
One-time Credit Packs and Service Credit restrictions
Credit Packs are one-time purchases. Service Credit is account-bound, usable only for Bolstr J services, non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. Purchased Credit does not expire while Bolstr J operates. There is no subscription or automatic top-up.
Estimated Prices, completed-run prices, failed runs and protected Pending Results
Before a paid AI action, the toolbox shows an Estimated Price. The completed-run price may be lower or higher. Failed AI actions are not charged. Where a completed result is protected while a credit adjustment is being resolved, that does not create an automatic card charge, cash debt or collection obligation.
Payments and Merchant-of-Record role
Payments are processed through the applicable Merchant of Record. Applicable tax and the final total are shown at checkout. Merchant-of-Record arrangements may change as the service develops.
Refunds, disputes and Refund Policy
Read the Refund Policy. Refunds and disputes are handled subject to mandatory law and the applicable Merchant-of-Record process.
Customer content, permissions and intellectual property
You retain responsibility for content you submit and must have the permissions needed to use it. You grant us the limited permission needed to provide the service. Our service materials remain our intellectual property except where law says otherwise.
AI limitations, service availability and prohibited reliance
AI can be inaccurate or incomplete. Do not treat output as engineering certification, guaranteed correctness or automatic approval. Service availability may vary.
Suspension, termination, account deletion and service closure
We may suspend or end access where reasonably needed for security, misuse, legal obligations or service operation. If Bolstr J closes, we will address affected accounts and unused credit in a manner consistent with mandatory rights and applicable Merchant-of-Record rules.
Liability and mandatory rights
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to those rights, Bolstr J is provided as draft-assistance software and you remain responsible for use of its outputs.
Changes, New Zealand governing law, disputes and contact
